General Mills  flagged a warning for consumers about possible Salmonella contamination in certain varieties of its Gold Medal flour products.  In an announcement distributed by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)  on Friday, April 28, General Mills issued a voluntary national recall of some two, five, and 10-pound bags of its Gold Medal Unbleached and Bleached All Purpose Flour with a "better if used by" date of March 27, 2024, and March 28, 2024.
