These star couples all called it quits.
Kendall Jenner and Bad Bunny split after dating for less than one year.
On Dec. 17, a source confirmed to People that the rapper, 29 (whose real name is Benito Martinez Ocasio), and the model, 28, broke up.
Romance rumors started flying back in February, after Jenner and Bad Bunny were photographed with Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber on a double date in Beverly Hills.
Although Jenner and Bad Bunny mostly kept their relationship out of the spotlight, they occasionally stepped out together. In April, for instance, the couple was photographed getting cozy at Coachella.
In December 2023, the "Bodak Yellow" icon and her rapper husband called it quits— again. The two were nearly divorced in 2020 after three years of marriage and amid rumors Offset cheated. They seemed to work things out until he later accused her of cheating, with Cardi responding, "First of all, let me say: You can’t accuse me of all the things you know that you are guilty of. Sing it with me, y’all! And I see that it is easy for you to blame everything on me. Yes, honey!"
However, they eventually reconciled again—until recently.
"I have been single for a minute now," Cardi confirmed in an Instagram Live. "But I have been afraid to like—not afraid, I just don't know how, like, to tell the world. But I feel like today has been like a sign."
The exes share two children together, 2-year-old son Wave and 5-year-old daughter Kulture.
In November, when fans noticed that Mariah Carey's backup dancer boyfriend Bryan Tanaka was missing from her tour, rumors started swirling that the two had split. Page Six confirmed as much the following month. “He wants to have a family," a source told the outlet. "That’s not where she is at."
In December, the couple called of their engagement after spending more than a decade together. They released a joint statement, saying, "To EVERYONE who has been there for us, supported us, and shown us love...We have mutually decided that it is best for us to move forward in life AS FRIENDS and have made this decision with love in our hearts, respect for each other, and appreciation for the time we've shared together."
"Please keep us in your prayers as we go through this transition," the continued. "Thank you for being there for us ALL THESE YEARS! We love you and appreciate you SO MUCH!"
Meryl Streep and her husband, Don Gummer, separated six years ago according to a report that came out in October.
The Devil Wears Prada star, 74, and the sculptor, 76, have been married for 45 years, but a representative for the Oscar winner confirmed to Page Six that the two are no longer a couple.
“Don Gummer and Meryl Streep have been separated for more than 6 years," the spokesperson told the publication, emphasizing their care for one another despite the news. "...while they will always care for each other, they have chosen lives apart,” the statement concluded.
Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd split on Oct. 2, 2023, when Morris filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences." The couple, who frequently collaborated on their music, married in March 2018 and had been together since 2015.
Morris and Hurd share a son, Hayes, who was born in March 2020.
Chrissy Metz and Bradley Collins amicably broke up in October after more than three years together.
"After three and a half years together, we've decided to end our romantic relationship amicably," they wrote in a joint statement on Instagram."While we continue to love each other very much, we believe this is the best path for us both. We still have books to write, songs to sing, and a special friendship to keep us in each other's lives forever."
The This Is Us star and Collins co-wrote a children's book together, When I Talk to God, I Talk About You.
Jodie Turner-Smith filed for divorce from Joshua Jackson in October 2023 after more than three years of marriage.
A source told PEOPLE of Turner-Smith, "She decided that she is done. They are on very different paths in life," the source continued. "Jodie loves being a mom. She also loves working."
The insider added, "It turned into an unhealthy marriage that made her unhappy. They will co-parent their daughter. They want her to continue to thrive."
Corey Feldman and Courtney Anne Mitchell separated twice in 2023, first in August, then again in September. The pair were married for seven years before throwing in the towel on their romance.
"It is with great sadness that Courtney and I have made the decision to separate after many wonderful years together," Feldman said in a statement to Page Six. "We have been through so much together and still have much love and respect for each other. There is no one to blame. This is a case of life becoming really hard, Courtney dealing with health issues, and two people who have grown apart and now find themselves at a crossroads."
This one hurts! Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness, his wife of 27 years, announced their separation in September 2023.
"We have been blessed to share almost three decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage. Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth," the estranged couple told PEOPLE in a joint statement. "Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness. We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives."
Jackman and Furness share son Oscar and daughter Ava Eliot, both of whom are now grown.
Joe Jonas didn't "Hesitate" to file for divorce from Sophie Turner on Sept. 6, 2023, after reports emerged the previous weekend that he was shopping for an attorney.
The pair first started dating after he slid into her DMs in 2016. They got engaged a year later and married in May 2019, later welcoming two baby girls together.
The narratives surrounding the breakup vary. Sources close to Jonas first alleged that avowed homebody Turner partied too much, then that the Game of Thrones star did or said something on a Ring camera that made him pull the plug. Later reports suggested that Jonas wasn't supportive of Turner after the birth of their second daughter.
Jeezy filed for divorce from erstwhile The Real host Jeannie Mai in September 2023, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the breakup. The pair were married for two years and share daughter Monaco, born in January 2022.
Sophia Bush and Grant Hughes separated in August after 13 months of marriage. The breakup appears to be an amicable one, even if there may be some juicy scandal involved: Bush is reportedly dating professional soccer star Ashlyn Harris after they hit it off at the Cannes Lions festival in June. (Harris, for her part, filed for divorce from Ali Krieger, with whom she shares two children, in September.)
When asked about Bush's romance with Harris, Hughes said in a statement, "Grant will always want the best for Sophia, and is supportive of all that makes her happy and fulfilled."
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari called it quits in August, just 14 months after their wedding and after nearly seven years as a couple. The pair reportedly had an iron-clad prenup and already sorted out the custodial arrangements for the dogs they adopted together. Their split is a sad one (and left Spears "shocked"), as they weathered plenty of ups and downs together, especially regarding the end of her longtime conservatorship—but it's also likely to be a relatively clean break for the "Toxic" singer and the fitness enthusiast that won't cost her much.
Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak and husband Kroy Biermann filed for divorce in May 2023 after 12 years of marriage. They withdrew the filing to work on their relationship, but to no avail: Biermann filed a second time in August 2023.
The split has been a contentious one, with a lot of animosity reportedly surrounding the couple's financial troubles, and Zolciak has been working in more reality TV, including a revival of The Surreal Life on VH1, in an effort to make ends meet.
Sofía Vergara and Joe Manganiello announced they were divorcing in July after speculation that there was trouble in their absurdly attractive paradise when he issued her a lukewarm birthday greeting (and she celebrated without him in Italy).
"We have made the difficult decision to divorce," the erstwhile couple told Page Six in a statement. "As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives."

Thank U, next! Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez are reportedly headed for a divorce after their marriage became a long-distance one: Gomez is a Los Angeles-based real estate agent, while Grande was overseas filming Wicked in England. Despite the difficulties, the pair are said to be amicable while they work out their split.
Ricky Martin and his husband of six years, Jwan Yosef, announced their plans to divorce in July 2023, telling PEOPLE in a joint statement, "We have decided to end our marriage with love, respect and dignity for our children and honoring what we have experienced as a couple all these wonderful years."
Billy Porter and husband Adam Smith confirmed their split in early July, PEOPLE reported. "The decision was an amicable and mutual one and was made after much consideration. They continue to love and support each other as they embark on this next chapter," their rep said in a statement.
After years of highly-publicized (and often televised and capitalized upon) ups and downs, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott finally called it quits.
McDermott announced that he and Spelling were separating in a June 2023 Instagram post, writing, "It’s with great sadness and a very very heavy heart that after 18 years together and 5 amazing children, that @torispelling and I have decided to go our separate ways, and start a new journey of our own."
The pair got together on the set of a Lifetime movie in which they co-starred while they were each married to other people (she to Charlie Shanian and he to Mary Jo Eustace). They divorced their respective partners and married in 2006. They share five children and, at least at one point, also shared a considerable amount of debt.
This hurts almost as much as the freezer scene: The Bear star Jeremy Allen White's wife, actress Addison Timlin, filed for divorce in May 2023. The pair met in high school and became a couple in 2016, tying the knot in October 2019. They share two daughters.

Taylor Swift and Matty Healy of the 1975 burned bright, hot and fast. The pair first sparked dating rumors in 2014 but dated for real for about a month publicly from May to June 2023, making bold declarations of love that Swifties speculated were for one another.
Their split came as Healy came under fire for comments he made and laughed at about rapper Ice Spice on a podcast, as well as anecdotes he told about enjoying racist, classist and misogynist pornography. That became more complicated when Swift released her "Karma" remix with Ice Spice, which many saw as an attempt at image rehabilitation for Healy.
Meanwhile, some saw the subsequent split as image rehabilitation for Swift, with sources suddenly telling tabloids that she and Healy were never actually that serious. In what we're sure is purely a coincidence, she also announced her tracklist for Speak Now (Taylor's Version) the day breakup reports hit the press.
Kevin Costner and Christine Baumgartner are divorcing after she filed in early May. The pair, who have a 19-year age gap between them, married in 2004 and share two teen sons and a teenage daughter. Their split is a contentious one, with the Yellowstone star's finances being laid bare in a bitter child support battle despite the estranged couple having a prenup.
Billie Eilish and Jesse Rutherford were first linked in October 2022.
Eilish gushed about Rutherford, who's 10 years her senior, in an interview with Vanity Fair published that November, calling him the "hottest f*cking f*cker alive" and saying that she and Rutherford served as muses for one another. That December, he'd appear onstage with her and her family at one of her concerts to mark her 21st birthday.
They called it quits in May 2023 after less than a year, with Eilish's rep saying that they remained friends.
Shannen Doherty filed for divorce from her husband Kurt Iswarienko in April 2023. A rep for the Charmed star told PEOPLE, "Divorce is the last thing Shannen wanted. Unfortunately, she felt she was left with no other option."
The pair were married for 11 years, with Iswarienko by Doherty's side for much of her ongoing cancer battle. Her rep alleged that Iswarienko's agent was "intimately involved" in the breakup. Iswarienko and his agent didn't comment on the insinuation.
Elle Fanning revealed in April 2023 that she and Max Minghella, her boyfriend of more than four years, had split. Still, she's open to finding love again, telling Harper's Bazaar U.K. in April, "I'm a hopeless romantic. I believe in love at first sight. Call me crazy, but I believe in those things. I feel that it's my destiny."
Say it ain't so, Joe!
Swifties were devastated when Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn called it quits after more than six years, five albums and several songwriting collaborations (some even winning both of them Grammys) together. Though the timeline has been hotly debated, with some fans even speculating that Midnights was a breakup album, the split became public in April 2023, a month before Swift and Matty Healy were romantically linked.
Sources said at the time of Swift and Alwyn's breakup news that it was relatively amicable and that the relationship merely ran its course, with some insiders speculating that Alwyn wasn't used to Swift's lifestyle when she wasn't in a self-imposed exile (a la her Reputation era) or a pandemic bubble. Either way, Swift's "magnetic force of a man" and muse for songs like "New Year's Day," "Gorgeous," "Delicate," "Cruel Summer," "Lover," "Paper Rings," "London Boy" and more turned out to not be her "Endgame" after all.
In March, Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth announced they were divorcing after 12 years of marriage and one memorable arrest. They share a 10-year-old son named Tennessee.
Witherspoon told Harper's Bazaar that her split from Toth is a "vulnerable" time, but that it's actually a bit easier than her divorce from her first husband, Ryan Phillippe, thanks to the advent of social media.
"To be able to talk to people directly about what’s going on in my life and just share it in the way that I share great professional experiences or personal experiences, it feels much more authentic to be able to say things in my own voice and not let somebody else control what’s happening," she explained. "When I was divorced before, the tabloid media got to tell people how I was feeling or how I was processing, and it felt very out of control."
"Scandoval" made Vanderpump Rules a global sensation, and even people who never watched Bravo were intrigued.
Tom Sandoval cheated on his longtime girlfriend, Ariana Madix, with Rachel Leviss (who, at the time, went by Raquel Leviss). Sandoval and Leviss got busted in March 2023 when TMZ reported about the affair, which lasted over a year. Sandoval and Madix split in the aftermath.
After the Sandoval-Madix breakup, he and Leviss also stopped hooking up, and she sought mental health treatment to cope with becoming an Internet main character.
The scandal was a main storyline for Vanderpump Rules Season 10, and Sandoval went on to appear in several other reality shows to capitalize on the hype, including House of Villains, Special Forces and The Masked Singer, while Madix competed on Dancing With the Stars.
"Love Sux" indeed. Avril Lavigne and Mod Sun split in February while he was on tour, about a year after getting engaged. The breakup reportedly blindsided Mod Sun, who alluded to the cause in his song "Strangers," released this summer: "Our first fight / I saw your true colors, your bad side / Pictures on the internet you can't hide / Soon as I go out of state, I'm out of mind." The "pictures on the internet" may be the ones of Lavigne with her rebound, the frequently financially insolvent rapper (and Kylie Jenner ex) Tyga.
Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams and her boyfriend of five years, Reuben Selby, broke up in February 2023.
Williams announced the split in an Instagram Story, calling it the "end of an era."
"@reubenselby_ and I decided to end our relationship," she wrote (via PEOPLE). "Since we met 5 years ago, our connection always extended deeply into our shared, and separate, creative careers... and it will continue to do so. This decision is something we are so grateful for so as we can protect the magic, that we can't help but emit, whenever we put out brains together."
