Kelly Clarkson & Broadway Star Turn 'Since U Been Gone' Into Duet

Kelly Clarkson did it again.

This time, joined by Broadway star Lorna Courtney, the Grammy winner blew away fans with yet another "Kellyoke" performance and proved that Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" could only be made better by adding an additional feature of someone with just as powerful of a range.

In a clip from the latest episode, the two singers took to The Kelly Clarkson Show stage for the regular segment–which sees Clarkson, 41, (and sometimes her guest) perform a surprise cover–and shocked fans with what may be one of the fiercest duets of the season.

The video begins with the & Juliet star showing off her talent and singing the opening verse to Clarkson's 2004 hit. Courtney continues, adding her own spin to the hit before Clarkson takes over at the start of the chorus.

At this point, the two have completely captivated the show's live studio audience, which can be seen smiling and cheering the singers on in between clips. But they lost it once the host began belting, clearly enamored by her passionate rendition of the tune.

The singers continue to go back and forth with the lyrics, building to the crescendo of a second chorus, which Clarkson invites the audience to join in on.

But it wasn't only those in the live studio audience that felt the magnitude of her performance, as fans took to social media to share their reactions.

"Kelly's voice just unmatched," one YouTuber gushed, adding, "The second she started sending chills to the bone."

"The chorus of this was PHENOMENAL! Well done to Lorna for holding her own with one of the best voices of our generation. I can’t imagine the nerves that would come with singing this WITH the woman who made it, let alone singing those high parts," someone else pointed out. "So much fun and so cool of Kelly to welcome her on the show to do that."

A third joked that they were "jealous of the audience members," and honestly, us too.

Clarkson has been on quite the streak recently, winning audience members and online fans over with her covers of Paramore, Taylor Swift and Coldplay songs, as well as her unbelievable duets with Dolly Parton and Carol Burnett.

To stay up-to-date on all her incredible Kellyoke performances, tune in to The Kelly Clarkson Show weekday afternoons on NBC.
