Janet Jackson Sends Love to Sister La Toya in Sweet Birthday Post

Happy birthday, La Toya Jackson! The singer turned 67 years old today, May 29, and her sister, Janet Jackson, had a sweet message to mark the occasion.

"Sisters forever!" the "Rhythm Nation" singer wrote on Instagram. "Sending love…especially to you @latoyajackson on your special day! ♥️♥️."

She also shared an old, black and white photo of the pair holding each other closely, cheeks pressed together. Janet wore a black leather jacket and wrapped her arm tightly around her sister, who wore a light-colored, short-sleeved blouse.

Though she didn't mention it, today also marks their oldest sister's, Rebbie Jackson, 73rd birthday, which fans were quick to point out in the comments.

"Happy Birthday Rebbie & La’Toya πŸŽ‚πŸ’•❤️," one fan wrote.

"I love the fact La’Toya & Rebbie share the same bday. 🫢🏾," said another.

Many others sent similar birthday wishes to the sisters, though one commenter noted that Rebbie is a practicing Jehovah's Witness—a religion that doesn't celebrate birthdays—which is likely the reason she was not included in the internet tribute.

Others were excited to see the throwback snapshot, with one writing, "Yessss. The Jackson ladies are ICONIC ❤️."

Janet celebrated her own birthday earlier this month when the performer turned 57. She looked perfectly fierce in a long-sleeved black, white, and grey curve-hugging cheetah-print dress, paired with comfy platform sneakers, and enjoyed a beautiful fruit-adorned cake for the occasion, as she showed off on Instagram.

At the time, she said the "beautiful" birthday messages from her fans made her birthday "extra special."
