Bruce Springsteen Takes a Hard Fall During Amsterdam Concert

Bruce Springsteen has been performing music on stage for decades, so he's bound to have had his fair share of missteps.

Over the weekend, the 73-year-old rocker was performing on stage when he took a hard spill that left him laying flat on his back.

The incident happened while he was performing his song "Ghosts" at the Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam on Saturday, May 27. With his guitar hanging around his neck, Springsteen began walking up the stairs to the stage during the song, when he lost his balance and tumbled to the ground.

In a video of the moment shared to TikTok, the "I'm on Fire" crooner can be seen laying on his back for several seconds before members of the E Street Band rushed to help him up.

Fortunately, he was able to make light of the situation after getting back on his feet, joking to the audience, "Goodnight everybody!" after taking the spill. But as the crowd continued to cheer for him, Springsteen got up and went on with the rest of his show, which had only just begun at that point.

Many fans took to the comment section of the now-viral TikTok video to comment on Springsteen's onstage stumble, and, of course, the puns were endless.

"Bruce is not a Spring Teen anymore," one fan quipped, while another renamed the singer, "Bruised Springsteen."

"Born to Fall," one fan chimed in, calling the entertainer a "hell of a guy."

"The only thing that Bruce can do that I can do also," someone else joked.
