Lori Loughlin Returns to the Small Screen in Great American Family's 'Fall Into Winter'

The 'Full House' and 'When Calls the Heart' star returns to TV for her first film in four years.

Lori Loughlin returns to television this weekend in her first lead role in over four years—in the Great American Family movie, Fall Into Winter. Loughlin, who was netted in the Varsity Blues college admissions scandal, eventually pleaded guilty and served jail time.

She has mostly stayed out of the limelight since her release in December 2022, only making brief appearances here and there. Her first foray back into acting was in a supporting role in Great American Family's When Hope Calls Christmas movie in 2021.

In her first lead role since the scandal, Loughlin stars in Fall Into Winter opposite James Tupper. Here's everything we know about the film including a Parade.com exclusive sneak peek!

What is Fall Into Winter about?

In Fall into Winter, life quickly changes for Kerry (Lori Loughlin) as she is suddenly forced to work alongside her childhood nemesis, Brooks (James Tupper), an old friend of her brother's who unexpectedly buys out half of Kerry’s family-owned confectionery business.

Meet the Fall Into Winter cast

Lori Loughlin (Kerry)

Lori Loughlin joined the Great American Family when she reprised her role as Abigail Stanton on When Hope Calls Christmas. When Hope Calls is a spinoff of When Calls the Heart, which Loughlin was previously a series regular.

James Tupper (Brooks)

Tupper is best known for his role as Jack on the ABC series Men In Trees and as David on Revenge.
