After ending The Ellen DeGeneres Show , comedian Ellen DeGeneres is moving in a very different direction and opening up what a fan called a "chicken hotel!" The 65-year-old and her wife, Portia de Rossi , set up a beautiful big chicken coop at their house, and DeGeneres took to Instagram to introduce fans to their chickens and the enclosure.  In the video, DeGeneres stood in front of the coop and said, "Today's the day. We've been waiting to do this for a while. We have chickens. We're very excited, and they're very excited." She then shared a short tour, showing the chickens eating and a swing set up for them. DeGeneres told fans, "I'll update you with chicken watch on a regular basis." A few of the chickens are named Brenda, Linda, Marge, Debbie, and Rooster, although she couldn't remember the others' names. Kelly Clarkson called out her ex-husband and their divorce in a performance of the popular song "abcdefu" by Gayle , a passionate track shading an ex after a breakup. Clarkson performed a cover of the song during her show, "chemistry...an intimate night with Kelly Clarkson." The singer is celebrating the release of her new album, Chemistry , with a series of concerts at the Bakkt Theater at Planet Hollywood in Los Vegas, Nevada. As she performed the song cover, Clarkson changed the lyrics of the chorus to, "F--k you, and your dad, and the fact that you got half/ and my broken heart, turn that s--t into art/ F--k you, and your view, from the valley I bought too/ everybody but your dogs, you can all f--k off." She even threw up a middle finger to the subject of the song as the chorus started. The blistering heat wave making its way across the country has caused giant cactuses in Arizona to collapse.  As temperatures near Phoenix soared to over 110 degrees Fahrenheit for the third week in a row, the area's saguaro cactuses have begun losing arms, tilting to the side and even collapsing entirely.   According to officials, the near month-long heat wave and lack of rain are to blame for the damage done to certain plant populations.  "These plants are adapted to this heat, but at some point the heat needs to cool down and the water needs to come," Tania Hernandez , a research scientist with the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, told Reuters .
